Michele De La Cruz is a New York State licensed esthetician and comes to the Noctua Diem team with years of industry experience and a lifetime of passion about everything skincare. Now, from Michele:
Since I was a teenager I have always been into skincare. I was forever at the drug store picking out masks, serums, cleansers, and creams. I was taught that less is more. It wasn’t until I got older that I started using more sophisticated products. Over time and after using so many different products, I became obsessed and overwhelmed. As a Medical Assistant and working in the medical field, I decided to work in dermatology, which I have worked in for over 20 years. In this field, I learned so many things about skin and realized that what I learned as a teenager still holds true. This doesn’t mean you shouldn't treat your skin to professional care. Rather, doing so simply enhances the work you do at home and helps you avoid becoming overwhelmed. About six years ago, I decided to return to school and become a licensed esthetician. I love teaching people how to care for their skin. I love performing facials, microdermabrasion, and microneedling procedures. I am so honored and happy to join the Noctua Diem team. I look forward to helping you feel confident and love the skin you're in.

While a resurfacing treatment, it doesn’t require any downtime and is comparably noninvasive. Dermaplaning (or microplaning) is a skin treatment that involves the use of an exfoliating blade to skim off dead skin cells and peach fuzz (soft hairs) from the face. We think you’ll see more radiant skin right away.
